While I loved the story, I wished the author had taken an alternative approach/use of language. Not Eleanor, nor anyone else needs to/can be fixed--benefiting from support and trauma-informed care is not the same as a 'cure'. Shifting the narrative about this would vastly improve mental health stigma and help remove barriers, like ones she experienced that inhibited much-needed understanding and care.
