The Wilder-women is a story about unusual women who have special gifts. Zadie, possesses the skill of being a psychic, and her sister, Finn, can tap into memories. The disappearance of their mother Nora, 5 yeas ago, sends Zadie and Finn on a journey to find her. On their journey they meet an interesting and equally unique cast of characters that assist them on their adventure.
This unique story involves the fantasy realm and magical realism. The writing is beautiful and atmospheric. It had heart breaking and beautiful lines littered throughout the book.
I listened to the audio version of this book and the narrator helped keep the storylines and different POVs straight for me.
