A City of Flames

I read this as an ARC very kindly gifted to me from the author. I really enjoyed this book but it did take me a while to get in to the story.
However I feel likes the case when you start any new fantasy series due to the extensive world building so don’t let that put you off.
I am now highly anticipating the sequel and feel like this story has set the scene for an epic adventure/ romance in the next book.
Overall it was a fresh take on a shifter romance adventure with a couple of twists I didn’t predict which is always a plus for me.
I adored the representation and normalisation of LGBTQ relationships (not the main characters) and it was beautifully done.
Would recommend
