First off, Channie Waites deserves so much of the recognition for why I enjoyed this book so much. I am so thrilled by how fantastic her narration was, and also by how this book captivated and enraged me. I was nearly crying at several points too, and listened to it basically non-stop.
I was thinking of docking half a point as some of the scientific explanations came across as pretty on-the-nose (all the stuff near the beginningabout hatred during the dissection scene ) but by the end I just did not give a f*ck. So heartbreaking and empowering, enraging and informative.
I'd recommend this book to pretty much anyone - unless you don't like gore.
