there’s a lot of interesting psychological topics tackled here but im just baffled on what’s the eventual point of the story. also i just really hate the writing (it falls into the trope of classical writings of lemme tell u my lofe story and then pages of monologue it’s just so unrealistic to me and kept taking me out if the story). the quality of writing of the translation is also very subpar, it reads like the authors have the whole thesaurus opened while constructing the paragraphs
