Ludwig Wittgenstein: The Duty of Genius by Ray Monk

funny hopeful informative reflective sad medium-paced

3.5

This is a good book and it did the job portraying Ludwig, as a person, very well.  The book does not tell but does show very well - for example, the book does not spell out that Ludwig was a deeply insecure and anxious person but it shows his actions and conduct to make that point.

The book overall paints a very detailed portrait of Ludwig as a tormented genius.
