Frivolous by Veronica Lancet
5.0
Literary sadomasochism at its finest and what a read it was! This book kept battering my emotions and yet I still kept going back for more.
Having worked my way through the Morally Questionable series I expected great things from Lancet and I was not disappointed. I'd already developed a dislike of Gianna after her appearance in Morally Decadent but Lancet shattered the impression I'd build of the character and quickly pulled at my heart. Ricocheting between enemies and lovers, Bass and Gianna's story is an emotional rollercoaster full of triggers, carefully crafted with superb prose and incredible characters. Be prepared for revenge, love, disgust, heartbreak and everything inbetween - you won't regret reading this.
