A must read for any fan of within the wires. I jumped at the chance to learn more about the founding of the society, which this book provided me, but the story itself is deeply compelling in its own right. Miriam Gregory makes for a sympathetic, tragic protagonist, especially for anyone with a similarly curious mind. You cannot help but understand every decision she makes, no matter how much they pain you.
I won't spoil the ending, but I had to sit with this one for a minute. It'll stick with me.
