- 3.75 ⭐️ because it was a very enjoyable read, but felt that the story and characters were quite basic and nothing new.
- Re: the pacing, I felt that the reveal of the killer was rushed and just thrown in the reader’s face in one big blob of an explanation.
- I also thought it would’ve been better if
the 4 main characters were actually involved in figuring out and catching the ones actually involved in the crime. Instead, it was just cooper and addy while Nate was in jail and bronwyn was just not there . - Characters were pretty well fleshed out but still left more to be desired I felt.
- Overall I feel meh about this story. It was fun, but didn’t have much of an impact and wasn’t as intense as I thought it would/could be. Struggling a bit to think of anything more to say about this book. I guess I will check out the sequel.
