This featured an okay mystery with a few murders ruled suicides. I didn't care for the murderer's narrative part here (describing themselves as a genius, with a few red herrings doing the same)...the writing for those parts just didn't flow well at all.

And Clare was a bit overbearing with trying to worm her way into her daughter's dating life by joining a dating website and an in person group. I mean, I just can't imagine a daughter even slightly being okay with this. And during this scene Clare is pretty rude to a person who is bi.

Having said all of that, I don't always like every aspect of characters in books, and perhaps she will grow over time.

I've been exploring cozy mysteries this year, and this is one of the series that I am (for now) continuing.
