Like with most Abby Jimenez books, you get swept into the romance. You know it's an HEA, but it's how you get there. This is the third one of her books that I read and I loved getting to know the background of Alexis and the MMC. For background, I was fortunate enough to receive the ARC of "Yours Truly" (the sequel to this book that's out this year) and actually read that first before going back to this book.
Check your triggers for this books, especially regarding DA (both physical and emotional).
If you're only looking for spice, this might not be the read for you because it's not there, although the chemistry is. If you love romance and sweetness, you'll want to give this a try.
