In the mood for a heartwarming story about sports, young love, and acceptance? Look no further. Fitzsimons has written a young adult novel that leaves the readers feeling hopeful about the future and the state of teenagers, while acknowledging that there will always be those who fight the rights and dreams of others. It's a hopeful book, without being made of pure syrup or ringing false. And reading about a transmasc MC who isn't in the middle of figuring out his identity is a delight. This novel has left me with a delighted, hopeful sense of joy in my heart.
