Yet another tragically beautiful novel by Akwaeke Emezi. Their writing style is always so engaging. I especially liked the narration switching between so many different characters, but also switching between third and first person point of view. I was less interested in how Vivek died and more interested in who he was and how he came to be Nnemdi. There are parts of her life and her relationships that are taboo but I think they’re meant to be. Overall, I couldn’t put this book down and I thoroughly enjoyed
