Meg Xuemei X knows how to catch my attention and keep me addicted to her series! Fever Fae, the first in her new Dark Fae Kings series had me from the first chapter. Evie is home from college taking care of her six siblings after the disappearance of her parents. Now caught up in a world where of her family, she seems to be the only one that sees the people for whom they are, she finds herself in a position of power. But what does it mean, and why her? I love Evie. She is young and naive in some instances and tends to be mature in others. Her circumstances are testing her, as a parent and in her new role. Her three kings add so much to the story, with their larger than life personalities. They are funny, and in the next breath passion filled. Xuemei X is creating a fantastic world, with amazing detail, and I can't wait to see what will happen next
Victoria Mei brings this all to life. A better narrator for this could not have been cast. Mei has so many voices, and each one distinct, so we know who is speaking. I love her energetic and animated voices! Her comedic timing is spot on and she brings the heat of passion in too! This is total entertainment, like a movie in my mind. Loved every minute.
