Two recovering addicts who have overdosed on the new, experimental drug, Memoroxin, sift through their corrupted memories at a rehab facility only to find that they may know each other from a time they can no longer remember.

Thoughts: The writing in this book, especially the author’s description of Los Angeles, is beautiful. However, the book itself feels too long and disjointed to appreciate. Is this the author’s intent, choosing to mirror her characters’ disorientation? Or is it a sign of unpolished writing?
