This was funny in places. And I didn’t expect it to be funny and that’s probably while I enjoyed it so much. I’ve also been on a bookishly smart heroine in histfic vibe lately.

Plus I got sent an ARC of book 3 (and wanted to read books 1&2 before I got to that ARC).
