The Romance Recipe by Ruby Barrett

medium-paced

4.0

It was going so well! :(
This book was witty, and the love felt real, and everything was going good. They were communicating, and happy. Hell, they even avoided the whole miscommunication trope. But near the end of the book, it had to fall apart. Like the author realized they hadn't had a big dramatic moment and just decided to shove it in there. Blugh.
"I did the one thing that you have repeatedly asked me to stop doing."
The main conflict could have been Paul. But instead we get meaningless fighting, and a last minute make up.

I would've given it 5 stars, but that definitely knocked this book down
