Sherlock Holmes meets Dexter.
It's a pretty good story of an investigator with a knack for puzzles and an eidetic memory.
The investigator has their own dark tendencies and history that I would say put the book solidly in the horror-adjacent mystery thriller categorization.
I thought there were some holes in the plot but appreciated how fast the story moved along.
Good for a nighttime read. Will be reading the second
