This was a different story to the kind I regularly read. It's a mystery along racial lines, uncovering (revealing?) racist behaviour passed from generation to generation. Often the ideals some held dear were clung to despite factual history proving them wrong. The end surprised me; I was listening to an audio copy and the book abruptly ended. I feel the book was left unfinished. Frustrating
