Reading this book felt like stumbling into a fanfiction forum—where the dialogue was stilted, the plot meandered, and the narrative seemed more focused on padding its page count than advancing the series.
Out of 715 pages, maybe 200 of them were actually relevant to the resolution. The rest was pure fan service.
Additionally, the dialogue in this series just keeps getting worse with each installment. Constant unrequited love, unearned by any party involved, and entire chapters from characters who carry no weight.
I wish the authors would have gotten a professional editor by this point in their success. This series really has so much potential.
