This is a very well written book. I enjoyed the focus on the resistance movement in France and the involvement of women. I also enjoyed the family aspect of this book and how it looked at the complex relationship between sisters. This book was emotional and it did make me cry. It was also inspirational in the fact that it showcases the importance of standing up for others, having courage to do the right thing, and refusing to allow evil to win. I will be thinking about this book for a while.
