Bobby and Jackie: A Love Story by C. David Heymann
1.0

Couldn't finish this, although it is as easy to read as People Magazine. I got the book from the library as an adjunct to another RFK book I am listening to, and it is very much like a funhouse mirror. Many of the same same stories, but run through a National Enquirer lens, warped almost beyond recognition in significance and interpretation. Trite, trashy and torrid. Read a real biography: Larry Tye actually did the work, while Heymann relies on hearsay and innuendo from at best unreliable sources (Truman Capote) and at worst those with an ax to grind (Oleg Cassini's brother Igor, prosecuted by Bobby when he was Attorney General). I swear I'm not making this s*** up.
