Gosh, of all the T.Kingfisher books I have read I wished for an Epilogue for this one the most.
What a nail on the head encapsulation of child abuse, from the POV of the child. It hit me so hard. Because this hits SO hard, I wanted to bask more in the happy ending, I felt like it ended too soon.
There’s a tiny bit of mystery (see spoiler) which makes me wonder if maybe there will be another book? That will focus more on the found family…. Fingers crossed!
