I LOVE this story, but the show was better. I think what makes this story special is the dual timeline in the show. It shows what it’s like to truly love someone through highs and lows. The book leaves out the later timeline, and I feel like it misses some of what makes it great. Loved getting more of Reynolds and Brimsleys backgrounds, though!
