This is a re-telling from Cas’s point of view.
Poppy slips into a coma like sleep during the last of her culling into her power. In hopes that she doesn’t lose herself to her power, Cas talks to her in hopes she can hear him and he starts by telling her how he first saw her and how it changed him.
You see things from a different point of view and it fills in the gaps of where Cas was during certain things that happened in the first book. The end was a bit rushed, and would’ve liked to see his reaction to certain things. But all in all, an enjoyable read.
