Once Upon a Broken Heart by Stephanie Garber

5.0

Stephanie Garber does not play around. She pulls no punches. This book started out strong and never stopped. And it was original and unique and somehow nostalgic at the same time.

It’s giving Cinderella. It’s giving Alice in Wonderland. It’s giving Ever After High. It’s giving Winx Club. It’s giving Vampire Diaries. Really, it’s just GIVING.

I swear from the moment this book started big things started happening and they just kept happening one after the other. Also, this is the first book that’s felt like an actual, real enemies to lovers I’ve read in a long time. Even thought the enemies haven’t become lovers yet lol.

I was absolutely invested from the very first chapter. I just know I’ll have the rest of this series devoured by the end of the week.
