Accidental Activists: Mark Phariss, Vic Holmes, and Their Fight for Marriage Equality in Texas by David Collins

4.0

From the outset, David Collins demonstrates that above all else he is an English professor. I enjoyed how he injected emotional & lyrical language into a story rife with legal technicalities. At times, I teared up. Although Collins is not a legal expert by any means, he does a fair job explaining the stages a lawsuit, from filing to appeals to a final judgment.
