The Ravens by Danielle Paige, Kass Morgan

5.0

This book captivated me from the get go. I was impressed with how accurately it portrays witchcraft and how much detail it went into without delving too deeply into the metaphysical. It left some to the imagination and left room for a little embellishments.

Vivi needed more personality and needed to be more fully developed. She felt really flat next to Scarlett. I also wanted more from Vivi’s mother and wanted more of a backstory with her. It felt bland. Also I saw Mason and Vivi coming from the beginning of the book and was disappointed. I was expecting more of a fireworks moment when they did eventually kiss and agree to date. It was vanilla.
