Ongoing webcomic/webtoon series with no clear end in sight.
//So far I'm on chapter 212, which is the most recently added chapter as of today (11 January). //
The premise is that Daniel Park, a short, unattractive boy switches schools after severe bullying, suddenly wakes up with a second, more conventionally attractive body. Over the span of 200-so chapters, he's learning to improve himself in various ways, learning self-defence, exercising, and challenging his own, and others' prejudices against him and others as he tries to find answers as to WHY he was given the second body.
I love this comic, and it's easily one of my all-time favourites. Each main character (and even some supporting characters) has their own back-story and development as the story goes. I cried a little during Vasco's backstory.
Also, the author's artwork on this is fantastic. The facial features are very diverse, and expressive. I don't think I've ever seen such a wide range of facial expressions (the exaggerated 'Ugly' faces contrasting to the beautiful, soft 'pretty' faces.) and features in a single comic before.
Their art improvement softens the features of some characters (Zoe, and Mira, especially) as the story progresses. Also, the characters look noticeably Asian, something I don't see very often even in Asian comics. It's beautiful.
Also, I ship Daniel (both short and tall bodies) with Jay, or Short-Daniel with Zoe.
