Glitterland

This was a cute, quick read that left me with slightly mixed feelings. I love reading books in British settings with the accompanying dry humour. I also liked the representation of mental illness, Darian as a character and the writing in general.
What I struggled with was the way Darian's accent was written, but mostly with Ash and the way he treated Darian. I think it was supposed to represent the class aspect, and I don't know enough about the British class system to really understand it, but the way he looked down at Darian all the way to the end was off putting. Darian was great to him from the start and I'm not sure if I think Ash deserved him.
Either way, I enjoyed the book for the most part.
