Not as good as the first book but still plenty of fun. Definitely love the quirky small town and the bayou setting. All the characters are endearing and funny.

I was kind of annoyed at the fatphobia dialogue. It felt tacked on to remind us that the mc is a larger woman, which could have been attained in a less obnoxious way.
