More Days at the Morisaki Bookshop by Satoshi Yagisawa

5.0

I just finished reading this book, and it felt both sad and heartwarming. Some of the things Takako went through were very relatable to me, and I highlighted a lot of quotes in this book. I wanted to cry so badly when I read Momoko's letter, but I was reading it at the office and I finished it there.

I really loved the storyline, even more than the first book. It depicts the ups and downs of everyday life in a very simple and meaningful way. I also really love the neighborhood of Jimbocho, which makes me want to live in Japan even more.
