An imaginative yet realistic and thought-provoking look at a future socialist society. Some of the aspects are quite appealing and hopeful, others challenge the readers cultural norms. The main character falls prey to several of the horrific injustices of modern society in the mental and physical care of marginalized groups. Looked at through the opposite end of the telescope, it might be the story from the point of view of a woman on the edge of insanity.
