Devasting
Inevitable
Poignant
Unnecessary self-sacrificial
Depression
I read a particulary gut-wrenching part whilst on public transport and had to pretend i was completely fine, what a travesty. For two smart people they sure are dumb
I think Emily Henry writes brilliant, honest, sharp and funny dialogue and will likely keep reading books by her, even if it turns out they are all different shades of the same story i think i would enjoy reading the same love story in different universes. Also big fan of the other friends in the group and insight into their/family dynamics.
The only downside is that this book is the epitome of the miscommunication trope *big sigh*
