So if you are looking for a Hallmark-esque story, then this book and author certainly did not disappoint. I must admit, I am not generally a fan of these stories when they become too cheesy and predictable; but this one did a couple things that were able to keep me in it so I'll list them out. Mainly, I hated the "big city girl/ small town boy" vibes that were being given, especially when they literally said it. The main plot was pretty predictable within the first quarter of the book. Even with all of that being said, I still give this story 4 stars and here is why. Even though the story was predictable, the characters all felt very believable and were able to carry the story when the tone was supposed to be funny or sad. Even though the main story was predictable, there were two side stories that offered some good payoffs that weren't as predictable. As far as these types of stories go, I definitely say it is a good read and worth a try. If this isn't your cup of tea, you should probably keep it moving.
