this one took me a while to get into, i even paused reading it to read other things because i was struggling.  but i listened to the audiobook to help me get back into it and it did help! i really started to enjoy it more around the 50% mark, that’s when it picked up for me.  i almost want to give it 4 stars because of the last half but with how slow i felt the first half was i’ll keep it at a close 4 but not quite.  i did enjoy how oraya and raihn didn’t immediately get back together and she had to work through her anger towards his betrayal. but i’m glad that she finally and eventually lets herself give in to how much he does love her despite what he had done. overall, i love these two and this story so much.  i wish there was at least one more on their story but i’m hoping they make appearances in the following books. also very glad i read the novella before this so i could appreciate the vale and lilith cameos <3
