"Hopefully, there's life after life after death."

I knew going into Will They or Won't They that there would be quite a bit of the miscommunication trope (which is my favorite 🙄), but it was still an enjoyable read. For some reason, I kept getting Vampire Diaries vibes from the show they were working on and thinking about Elaina and Damon's real-life relationship and how it translated into the show. So, that kept me entertained. I also loved the ending as it was so perfect for Hollywood and, overall, charming.

My biggest complaint about the book is the audio. It was narrated by two people - one for Lily's character and one for Shane's. The narrator for Lily gave Shane a Southern accent (which is referenced in the book), but the narrator for Shane did not have a Southern accent. For whatever reason, this bothered me so much and distracted me from the story. It's a me problem, not the book, but keep that in mind if you choose the audio format. I have issues with continuity in books/movies/tv shows.
