Echoes
by Steph Macca
I enjoyed this book, but not quite at the same capacity as the first book.
I was invested, and enthralled by this book UNTIL around the last 20 pages? That feels like an odd place for a book to LOSE a person, but it just did,
It felt like the story started to become predictable by that point. I knew where her mind was going, and that she would add another man to her reverse harem. The shocks had already been revealed, so there was NO shock left for this book except choosing another partner?
Yet, I wondered if the men were going to add another woman in on this?
I have no inclination yet to finish the series because I felt the ending was not a match for the momentum it garnered. That’s just my opinion. Still a great read and a great story.
