As a stem cell transplant survivor that’s struggled with my identity and sense of self during and after treatment, this book really spoke to some of the experience, while being entirely, authentically its own. Walela has helped me through some of the most difficult times of my life and I’m so glad to be alive during a time I get to learn from and look up to them. Thank you for helping me navigate relapse, trauma, and grief. This book helped me more than you’ll know.
