So I wouldn't say this was a dark romance story as there wasn't really much of what I would constitute dark, but everyone does have different definitions. I did enjoy how Amelia was becoming a stronger person and standing up for herself more as the story went on. Luc was a little annoying and unlikeable in the beginning when it came to Amelia, but I feel like he became redeemable in the end and changed for the better. I think they were exactly what they needed as they brought the best of themselves. out of
