Stuck with You by Ali Hazelwood

2.0

I felt like these leads had more chemistry than the ones in the first novella but reading this second also made it more repetitive.

The tropes in “Under one Roof” were also more fun.

Both are forced proximity though one is same house and one is powerless elevator. Both contain miscommunications thoughts Sadie’s is far more glaring.

I think I liked this dynamic better because it felt like there was more drama and also more discussions of engineering (marginally).

The friendship seemed better incorporated here and from the dialogue it seems like the final novella should be my favourite.

I’m going to refrain from commenting on the sex scenes because they just aren’t that memorable.

Reading these back to back makes you acutely aware that Ali Hazelwood has a type. It’s impossible to ignore and I’m getting a little bored of it.

[SPOILERS]

I don’t read much romance is it common to have an author write the same combination over and over again?

I feel like every single thing she’s written so far has been HUGE TALL MASSIVE MAN who has a GINORMOUS DICK falls in love (he falls first of course) with TINY SMALL GENIUS WOMAN who has SMALL TITS.

Is there going to be variety or is this it? I mean Mara had a scar from lacrosse but that was really it for differences.

Where is the range?
