I appreciated the unique story telling with the screenshots paralleling the book’s narrative, but I just couldn’t connect to the characters.

I didn’t care for any of the characters and therefor I didn’t care about the story. 

Very reminiscent of Survive The Night by Riley Sager. I actually preferred Run Times execution of the screenplay being interwoven, but preferred Sager’s narrative.
