The Humans by Matt Haig
4.0
3.5.
The final 50 pages of this book was its high point. It kept me more-or-less interested throughout, with rather likeable characters. I did find it to be a tad on the superficial side, given that it was trying very hard not to be. I found some of the key moments to be lacking in substance and they ended up being totally glossed over.
Overall a nice, enjoyable read and an interesting take on the genre.
Really loved the ending.
