I was surprised very pleasantly by how useful this book is. So many self-improvement style books are so waffly - this one is short, very densely packed with key ideas, and has lots of practical exercises.
It does read as quite outdated - it's all about hetero marriage and has some strongly implicit gender norms - the principles are still relatable and likely applicable to any sort of intimate relationship.
