Sawyer and Royce had good chemistry and I liked Sawyer, but that's about it.
Royce was so hot and cold that he gave me whiplash, and his change of heart and commitment at the end wasn't very believable to me because it wasn't developed enough.
The case wasn't interesting or particularly clever. It felt like an accessory to the romance so the characters could interact instead of an aspect of the book that can stand on its own.
