I highly enjoyed this book from start to finish, and the description really tells you nothing about the book. Desiree fell in love with Jake when she was 19 and working as a Gofer on the set of the first movie he ever stared in. Years later he is a successful actor and she is a Makeup Artist. They officially meet on a flight back to San Francisco and then proceed to spend the weekend together which after, they part ways.
Fast forward almost eleven months later Desiree has a daughter, Stephine, and is about to have a huge break in her career. The catch? Jack is not only the lead male actor but also the producer of the movie that she has been offered the job of Head Makeup Artist on.
So yeah, there is a lot of drama in this book, Desiree who is struggling with whether or not to tell Jake that he is Stephanie's father. Jake who cant make up his mind about Desiree. And then there is the peanut gallery!
