The Fire Next Time by James Baldwin

5.0

There's not much to say about this. Baldwin is one of my favourite writers, his writing here is engrossing as usual. The ideas and arguments presented are (thankfully) more commonly encountered in popular discourse today, if you're paying attention at least, but reading them from Baldwin's perspective still added something fresh. The way he framed or approached his arguments/ideas often managed to bring things into sharper focus, and helped me see new ways to approach conversations in the future.
