It took me way too long to read this book. I can't say I didn't like it but I also can't say I liked it.
It's very Wintersonian and I enjoyed it for that. The themes are good and explored in an interesting way and the book is very reflective and unusual. The story and narration are loosely built which is nice but also means there wasn't anything pulling me back into them. I'd put the book down and wait forever until picking it up again because I wasn't craving it, wasn't curious to see what happens.
Maybe I would have enjoyed it more if I had read it for uni or with a time constraint.
