Sally Rooney reads beautifully. This book is so messy. The protagonist keeps making the worst decisions, I wanted to slap her. I like Normal People better. The last few lines of this book, what Frances said, it left me speechless. Trust Sally Rooney to finish her book leaving the reader at a loss of words, somehow looking for more.
