reread: 08/18/20: this book hit me once again... I was in a rough path with anxiety these past few weeks and i was also in a reading slump so nothing was okay with me. but rereading it made me emotional again and remind me a lot of things. so please, do yourself a favor and read this book.
first read: march 2020: i didn't expect this book to have such an impact on me. i knew it would be hard to read, but to have a freaking impact? not really. but it did. i'm still crying after finishing this novel because it was everything that i needed. i needed a book to remind me that it is okay to be selfish sometimes, that i need to take care and be kind to myself first. that having mental illnesses are not our fault. i really recommend this novel.
olive, lewis, jamie, sophie, hannah and gabriella are in my heart.
